What Information Is Collected?

“Personally Identifiable Information” means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, home or other physical address, an email address, phone number or other contact information, whether at work or at home. FBCI uses PayPal to process payments made to FBCI. PayPal collects the following Personally Identifiable Information from you when you use our Site to make a donation or to buy products: your email address, a PayPal password, your first and last name, a mailing address, your credit card billing address, your credit card information (type, number and expiration date), and your telephone number. Your name and your email address are included in a report that PayPal provides to FBCI. Such information is collected in order to complete a donator’s/purchaser’s order and is only shared with FBCI’s staff or third parties involved in that process. Additional Personally Identifiable Information, such as age, gender, and email address, may be collected as a part of the registration process or when requesting information. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features if you do so.

How Is Such Information Used?

Personally Identifiable Information is collected for the purposes of making a donation, purchasing an item off the Site, registering as a member, or making a request for information. Such Personally Identifiable Information is necessary to follow through with the user’s intent. Some information provided may, upon consent of the user, be shared with third parties.

Information collected from you is typically used to complete and support your purchases from and use of the FBCI Site and to comply with any requirements of law. FBCI may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FBCI or this Site; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of FBCI; or (3) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of FBCI, its web sites or the public. If FBCI should ever file for bankruptcy or merge with another company, we may sell the information you provide to us on this Site to a third party or share your Personally Identifiable Information with any company with whom we merge.
